The IC4A and ECAC XC meets will be held tomorrow, Sat., Nov. 20, at Van Cortland park in NY. We usually send some of the B team runners to this meet, since the NCAA meet is usually the Monday after this meet. However, I expect the Georgetown women team to be represented by a full team minus Nicole Lee and Maggie Infeld, the individuals, who made it to the nationals. Even without their two top runners, the Hoyas should score fairly well as a team. The men will probably have their B team there. I am sure they are hoping to get a top five position at nationals on Monday.

The men finished 11th, the women 5th in the IC4A and ECAC XC meet, respectively. The men's team ran the full B team and then some (11 runners). The women were missing their top two runners. Details later.

The Hoya's team at the IC4A meet:
21. Michael Banks 25:32 41. Justin Scheid 25:52 46. Tommy Manning 25:55 59. Charlie Millioen 26:06 (first time I remember his competing this year; has been plagued by injury during his tenure at GU0. 92. Tim Erickson 26:26 97. Alex Guney 26:30 129. Rasheed Thompson 26:51 130. Scott Bastek 26:51 139. Nat Glackin 27:02 150. Shane Young 27:15 155. Neil Grosscup 27:26
Since Michael Banks ran in this meet, it must mean that Dan Nunn is healthy again and will run at the NCAA meet on Monday.

The difference in depth of the men's and women's programs was really brought out in the ECAC and ICAAAA meets. The women, who were running their complete team minus their top two, ran only six runners in the ECAC meet, while the men, who are running seven runners at the NCAAs on Monday, ran 11 runners at the IC4A meet.
The women scored 112 points to finish 5th. If Nicole and Maggie ran, I am sure they could both have made top five here, so the Hoyas would have a switch of over 50 points, enough for the win. The women's team:
9. Erin Henry 18:09 19. Melissa Grelli 18:25 28. Kelley Otstott 18:41 35. Sabine Knothe 18:49 (running a good race here, as the shorter 5K distance helped her, normally an 800m runner) 38. Jodee Adams-Moore 18:51 (still having trouble coming back from injuries) 45. Jenny Funk 18:56
