Teresa Heinz Kerry tells a reporter to shove it: www.drudgereport.com/teresahk.htmIt's not politically significant, but mildly amusing and a reminder that there's always a video camera around, especially when you're in politics. Is the Pittburgh Tribune Review a regular daily or a tabloid or what? Just wondering.

the only reason this is worth mentioning is because it is hysterical if you know what she flipped about. Do you know what she reacted to? Being pushed by a reporter from what she called a "right wing rag" on a point about what she meant when she pleaded that American political discourse needed to be more civil! Now that is funny.

Well, leave out any mention of the reporter's inappropriate and disrespectful behavior when asking questions for Mrs. Heinz Kerry. Leave out any mention of the paper's attacks on the Kerrys and Heinzes.
I also have to question your understanding of what happened. Teresa Heinz Kerry never called the paper a "right wing rag."
Other than that, I find it humorous myself. The Kerry campaign has been overwhelmingly positive over the last few months and hasn't resorted to negative attack ads like President Bush has.

Let's see what happened. Heinz said something about creeping uncivil disourse being un-American, not an untenable position. A reporter from a right wing paper asked her to explain it and re-asked when she not only dodged but inaccurately denied saying it. . She said she never said un-American, although she can be heard clearly saying it on tape. Then she walked away in a huff, consulted with PA governor Ed Rendell, who may have been the one who dismissed the "right wing rag" and then, inexplicaably, she stormed back to tell the guy to shove it in that aristocratic European accent. Just what every American wants in their first lady.
I will remember to quote Jersey's quite sensitive parameters for "disrespectul" behavior from an "uppity" journalist next time a Republican snaps at being asked a question from a "left wing rag" and we will see how well that plays....
Watch the video, the guy is not in the least disrepectful nor is the question or questioning, but her reaction sure is. Not a big deal- but a pretty stupid move from a billionaire candidate's wife who has a Leona Helmsley problem with her image to begin with. Image is very important when it comes to candidates, its everything when it comes to potential first ladies. Not a huge deal, but not a good start, and its both unfair more importantly besides the point to say that the guy deserved it.
