...from josh marshall...
"It's amazing how many partisan Democrats and disgruntled former employees working under cover as career civil servants, spies and military officers have betrayed this president. It just seems to happen again and again and again. I mean, just think of the list: Rand Beers, well-known partisan Democrat and hack, Richard Clarke, self-promoter, disgruntled former employee, and "self-regarding buffoon", Karen Kwiatkowski, conspiracy theorist and all-around freak, Valerie Plame, hack and nepotist, Joe Wilson, partisan hack, self-promoter and shameless green tea lover. When will the abuse end?"

Guess this is what happens when you place a higher premium on loyalty and toeing the company line than on getting things right. Eventually, the competent but independent-minded people in your administration will balk, and then your carefully orchestrated public fascade will crumble.
Every administration has its critics, both internal and external, but when they're all reporting the same types of things, and over a lengthy period of time, it's hard to believe there isn't some serious merit to their reports.

Haven't you learned anything from watching "The Apprentice?" The Donald places a great deal of importance on loyalty and so should you! [glow=red,2,300]You're Fired![/glow]

It's just not the same without The Donald's patented sideways finger jab. I'm already looking forward to the day I could potentially use that one someone.
Got to respect The Donald for putting the fun back in terminating someone's employment.
