As it appears, this vote was even more politicized than the most recent vote on authorizing the use of force against Hussein. It looks like the DLC wing of the Democratic party (Lieberman, Breaux, etc.) jumped aboard with the Republicans, while a large contingent of Democrats voted against it and even Chuck Grassley, which is more than surprising to me. Kerry seems to be in good company, so I don't think this one will come back to bite him as much as apparent and alleged flip-flops on the more recent Iraq war.
