The students that took over the streets after the UNC-victory should teach them a thing or two. Follow it all up with a march on the White House.

I wonder if these idiots will take a cue from the WG marchers and paint their slogans backwards: "!FMI HTIW NWOD"
"!KNAB DLROW EHT POTS"
It will be like they've all taken their cues from Zatanna. (Only approximately 3 people on this board will get that joke.)

Is Weisey's considered a "decadent restaurant" by these baffons?
'Cause if it is, I'll be down there... neo-facist 30-aught-six in hand... defending my right to a deliciously greasy Blackie's Special.
Where's The Attorney General when you need him?!?

Those people smell like tinkle!
(OK, actually it's vinegar to counteract pepper spray, but you combine that with a decidedly European-like aversion to hot running water and soap, and you get tinkle)

Rocky's on it:
October 18, 2007
Dear Members of the Georgetown University Community,
The Metropolitan Police Department has advised Georgetown University and the surrounding community of a planned demonstration on Friday evening, October 19, 2007, between 6pm and 11pm. The demonstration is expected to begin at Washington Circle and proceed to the Georgetown business district. While we anticipate that this activity will be limited to the commercial area, a significant police presence is expected in Georgetown during this time.
We advise you to plan accordingly and consider avoiding the area, as road closures and traffic delays are expected.
Thank you.
Rocco DelMonaco, Jr. Vice President of University Safety

Georgetown students, who would presumably travel by foot, are advised not to go to the "business district" (I'm assuming just means M St and Wisconsin) because of "road closures and traffic delays"? I have no idea how The Rock gets from Point A (road closures and poor traffic flow) to students avoiding the area.
I'd be out there in a second watching whatever pretend-mayhem these people want to act like they're stirring up.

If there are any students who come across this "rebellion" tonight, let us know whether there are more than just 15 people with Che t-shirts.

It appears most of the hippies will be forced to "shower" tonight.

I imagine that a few of them will end up living in Georgetown after they outgrow their rebellious phase.

Wow. They stopped bitching and started a revolution. Good for them. Haha. I thought the same thing. But then I realized that the "Stop Bitching, Starta Revolution" people couldn't be involved in this, because the "lap of luxury" that is Georgetown is what keeps t-shirt sales going.

In previous years, demonstrations had focused on the institutions' headquarters just west of the White House. But Rusty Shakkleford, 18, said protesters went to Georgetown, in addition to the traditional sites, because it was where the delegates dined and stayed.
Rusty Shakkleford is the pseudonym that Dale Gribble uses in King of the Hill. Guess Anarchy Boy, 18, isn't too much against the man to watch corporate television.

That makes this even more absurd. I enjoyed: "Several demonstrators at the afternoon rally wore dark bandannas over their faces. One carried a black flag. Another wore a T-shirt that read, 'Don't Tase Me Bro.'"They're rallying behind the "Don't tase me, bro?" slogan? That's sad.
