wow the last college game of the season hasn't even been played yet (although i'm still holding out for the meteor)...
the short answer: no, not really. i do know one couple at gtown/gw but they were together before they attended their respective schools (and we all give them a lot of crap about it, haha).

I know people who have hooked up - I don't know anyone who actually dated for over a month.

No one at Georgetown would come near me when I was at GW. I was sad.

Afalcon, you have been asking a lot of dating questions on this board. Are you telling us that you want to date a GW person and bring them and alcohol back to your room?

I think afalcon is disappointed in the actual content of the "Virgin Fest" thread.

I only knew of one GU-GW couple in college. In determining how well it worked, one must first determine the criteria upon which "well" is judged; i.e. assuming that both parties are not complete social and romantic write-offs pre-relationship. Which they were.
As for personal experience, I never dated any GW girls ... so no knowledge about that. I suggest hitting The Exchange, McFadden's, or 51st State on a weekend night to get a good feel for what you might expect from lady Colonials.
Buff, it looks like Melrose has a chunck of cheddar cheese in his hand. Please tell me this is so.

Easy answer.
Georgetown guys are fully allowed to take down GW sluts at will. (note, they are not GW girls, they are always to be referred to as GW sluts.)
Dating a GW slut is not always acceptable. It depends on her hotness quotient. GW girls generally have a solidly trashly look going on, not necessarily what you want in a girlfriend...
I *pray* that afalcon10 is an accepted HS senior and we're shaping his knowledge of GU.

Oh well. Guess that makes sense for Super Mullet Man. Oh and my co-worker just took issue with the implied characterization about Wisconsinites ... apparently they take their hockey pretty seriously too. I agree with Lingus - if you ever feel the need for something easy that won't ask too many questions HoVA and Thirston (GW frehmen dorms) are the place to be.
However, as indicated, a jimmy-hat is often a necessity.

To the extent that GU students even date, it's entirely possible that a GU/GW connection would work. The two campuses are walking distance, and if one person were to live in SE Georgetown (e.g. Prospect St near Wisconsin Ave) and the other in NW Foggy Bottom, then the walking distance could be closer than two GU students who live in LXR/Prospect and Burleith.
Despite what others are saying, GW girls are at least as good looking as Hoyas, which seem to be overrepresented by overweight snobs from Northern NJ and Long Island.
