Something was bothering me while watching Studio 60 tonight. I think I found what it was. In Nathan Corddry's character's dressing room, I believe that he has one of the "BUS STOP-WISCONSIN AVE." GUTS signs on the wall. I know this sounds crazy, but I believe that he has one of the signs, just like the one at the bus stop for the Wisconsin line up at Leavy. If anyone DVR'ed tonight's episode, or if someone wants to watch in the future we could make sure that I'm not crazy.

I saw that too. For a while all you could see was simply "Stop Wisconsin Avenue" and the local government nut in me thought it was planted by someone objecting to development along Upper Wisconsin Ave near Tenleytown and Friendship Heights. Then I realized it was "Bus Stop Wisconsin Avenue" and had the same thought!
I have it on tivo; I'll look again when I get home tonight.

Watched the ep on tivo last night-- it was definitely a "bus stop-- wisconsin avenue" sign, not sure if it was a GUTS sign but it was blue and white and not a DC metro sign.
Nate Corddry doesn't have any connection to DC but maybe we will find out that his character is a gtown alum? if the show doesn't get cancelled first.

It's definetly a GUTS sign like the one at the stop near Leavey. I am also concerned about the show. I think with the record amount of $$ NBC paid in the bidding war for the show they'll have to leave it on for a while to try to earn back some of their investment.

NickSixers, hopefully you weren't an econ major, because I think those are pretty much sunk costs as far as NBC is concerned now. Unfortunately that show is in trouble: www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,226092,00.html

Actually I saw a recent article that said NBC ordered a full season. Studio 60 is safe for now.
