That was an ugly win, but I'll take it. What was with Green tonight, why so hesitant to shoot in the first half and most of the second half. Big props to Cook, he played out of his mind. I know I will catch some sh#@ for this, but I still want to see some coordination from Hibbard, and somebody please tell that kid to keep the ball above his chin in the post.

Thebin thought Green looked like he might have been sick, since he just seemed a step slow or hesitant, and while I didn't see it at first, maybe he's right. In Hawaii, Green was much more assertive. On the other hand, I thought he played a very heady game from the point of attack, even if he missed the layups he usually makes. The team picked him up, and that's what we're going to need every night out -- solid TEAM play with different heroes (but steady plays from the upperclassmen) every game.

It was good to win without Jeff scoring a lot of points. The rest of the team came to the rescue. What a great win!

Oh, I just emailed Bob Smizik ragging on him about his column. I love it! Poor Catholic non-IA football teams.

We can start, as Arlo Guthrie said in Alice's Restaurant, a movement. Let's get Mr. Smizik to wishing he never heard of Georgetown.

Oh, I just emailed Bob Smizik ragging on him about his column. I love it! Poor Catholic non-IA football teams. He's getting an avalanche of emails - I suggested a move to the MAC might be appropriate for such an embarassing program. ;D

Highlight of the game for me was when Green hit that lay up after catching that laser beam pass from Bowman. What great hands Jeff has and the ability to not only catch it but to also go up strong for two. Great win for the hoyas. A tremendous confidence boost for the team!
