Anyone have any links to the designs for the proposed Business school facility? Predictably, its not to be found on MSB's circa 1994 web site. What about the science facility? Not sure there have been any treatments of that yet. Are they both to be located in the old baseball field? in the endzone of the MSF? Can we just begin the hostile takeover of Visitation already?

The only thing I've seen on the business building was a drawing in the Hoya. It is slated to be right on the doorstep of the Leavey Center, on the Potomac River side. My understanding is that the science building will be nestled between the Lombardi Cancer Center, Darnell, and Leavey on what is currently a parking lot. I haven't seen drawings for the science facility, although I know people who have seen them, so they do exist. My sense is that they probably haven't been released because there is more interest from Healy in getting the MSB thing built first because fundraising has gone more smoothly for it.

Here's a link to the Hoya article. Just click on "Enlarge Image" for a nice large shot of the plans. Yeah, this is planned for the old baseball field, connected to Leavey. And Im ready for the hostile takeover, just tell me when to attack. ;D www.thehoya.com/news/042004/news2.cfm#

There was a much better picture in the latest alumni mag....the one with the story about cotton on the cover.

Yeah, the picture in the Georgetown mag is pretty cool. How are they gonna fit all these buildings in, though? It seems like the MSF is gonna take up all the space.

There's plenty of space there actually. There's a huge parking lot where there used to be a baseball field and the MSB building should fit there easily.

Really? I just don't remember that much space being there, I guess. It just seems like the MSB is going to be on top of the MSF! Oh well!
