that is cool, what is the frame of reference there, ie where is yates or the current mcdonough or village C so i know what i am looking at.

Yates and the new area don't have roofs. You can see the MSF and the planned B-school. Village C is off the screen to the right of the SWQ.

Not only does it have an arena but within the building appears to be a practice facility with three courts. This is the kind of structure big-time college basketball programs have and something GU deserves!

Wow, that's really nice. Hope it's ready for my kids when they arrive on campus (which gives them AMPLE time to finish it).

If I had to guess, I think there are people in McDonough who didn't want these plans getting out. It makes sense as this is a massive facility that would take at least 5 years of fundraising, not to mention the town-gown implications. Around 3 today there was probably a frantical call to the architectural firm that posted the graphics. I wish I had saved a copy of the jpeg. That doesn't mean that we as alumni shouldn't remember that such a facility has been planned and could be built! Let's keep the pressure up.
