DFW, You should highlight this on the front page, I think a lotof people will miss it otherwise. It is both an important issue and an informative article.

DFW, how much does this concern you? I know that GU is not in as bad of shape as some would think reading that article. They have no cash flow, and while their endowment is not as big as some other schools, it is big enough. I think the main thing that troubles me is that we still have no vision when it comes to fundraising. We have some very wealthy and powerful alumns, and it seems like we are not doing enough on the academic or athletic side. I know they just finished a huge campaign, but it was not enough. Just rambling a little. I am curious as to your thoughts.

With most schools at GU's level, once one fundraising campaign finishes, it's usually only a couple of years before the next one gets rolling, and I wouldn't expect much different in this case.
I think money is and has always been an issue for Georgetown, which has always been competing against schools with more resources.
