I try the best I can to keep updated on the Hoyas here in CT. I know all about the contributions of the big 3 freshmen this year but I was curious about Guibunda and Crawford. Are they just not ready to play yet?? Any injury or academic problems? Any inoformation on them?

Tyler came in for a short spell last night in the second half, but he seemed a little tentative -- not sure if he doesn't have the green light to shoot, or if he just didn't have a chance to get into rhythm in the couple of minutes that he was in there,

jt3 described tyler as very athletic but not sure which positon in the kenner league he was off on his shots but then in the last few games had like 5of six threes and 4 of six threes played great defense to help them win the semifinal and final games... cornelia gibunda didnot play hardly at all in the kenner not sure whats up with him go hoyas

He didn't play long enough for us to see too much but it would seem III has some sort of confidence in him, no? My uninformed opinion says look for increasing Crawford minutes over the next few weeks.

Crawford looks like he has a lot of talent and a lot of energy. I think JTIII gave him a big boost of confidence by playing him at a crucial time against Norfolk State - but he still looks a little scared to shoot the ball. Great defense, great energy, I think he could surprise some people as the year goes on.

After the Howard game, it seems like Crawford is the next guy who could possibly earn a spot in the rotation. If I am not mistaken, he came in after Ross, who seems to be about our 8th man at this time. Crawford continues to show improvement, and I think JT3 may have liked something he saw in practice. Good work, Tyler!
