Happy Hoya Hoops in 2005! Thanks to all who make rejoicing in the Hoya wins and commiserating in the Hoya losses a shared experience. Special gifts to mark this Hoya Christmas 2004: JTIII for coming on board and giving us hope DFW / Admin for providing this Board for us to get on board Hoya 2007 for his energetic role in reviving student support for the team. The "Saxa's" for bravely venturing to Hawaii to give us eyewitness reports from the tournament FLHoya whose game recaps give us too-far-away-to-attend alumni a sense of "we were there" for so many of the games NevadaHoya who sacrificed his voice for an "adopted team" in Vegas And "the fellas" ...... the players who chose to come to the Hilltop, don the blue and gray (or the teel and white -- a situation soon to be fixed we hope), and give their best.

You forgot one, HoyaLawya:
For HoyaLawya for underwriting many of the We are Georgetown tee shirts, and the gift of humor, which had me rolling on the floor continuously reading your funny (and often illustrated) posts. Merry Christmas to you and all.

I hope the New Year brings unto you the best of pleasures, including, but not limited to, a trip to MEGAFANLAND! Just a win on Jan. 18. Of all the pleasures (realistic ones of course, not the ones involving Jennifer Connelly), that is the one I want. This is a lie, of course. I want a win every game. But if I had to point at one date and say to Jeebus, "This one, if you please, good sir!," that date would be Jan. 18. To quote my hero: pleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease (not trying to get ahead of things, but its hard to focus on the present during MEAC week).

Yes, Happy Holidays to all! And, personally, having the Clemson win to enjoy has made it much nicer. I'm glad we got a couple more games after the Oral Roberts game... that would have been a downer to carry through the holidays. Now, we got a victory over the ACC's Clemson to relish.
I'm pretty new to the HoyaTalk board, but it's a fun way to feed my craving for endless Hoya bball info and ranting. It's been fun...
I look forward to each game, but especially against Pitt. We'll see where they are ranked then, but that'll be another chance to shine. Meanwhile, let's take care of business against Norfolk St. and Howard.
