Has Georgetown attempted a pass play beyond 10 or 15 yards?

The lack of a deep passing game for Georgetown will be painfully obvious during the last few minutes.
I have no idea why one calls the option on 4th & 8. Just plain dumb - it hasn't worked that well today.

Now you're down 31 and you go with a keeper on first down?

Well, this was thoroughly disgusting. Nice individual efforts by several players throughout, but uneven team performance really hamstrung the Hoyas.
Sarin was benched for Slayton after failing to fall on that lateral - I wonder if we'll see him next week.
Hoyas really love to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, giving up TD on opening kickoff, the long scores before half, the TD on the 1st play after the interception, etc.
I hope the team can get things together for Davidson, and then come back for one last shot at a PL victory.

Just got back from the game. It was so incredibly frustrating that I don't possess the words to describe it. That was just an extremely painful experience.
DFW's earlier posts pretty much sum up the anger and frustration felt by all of us in the stands:
"Memo to the OC: 4th and 8 is not an option play."
"3rd and 13...run up the middle."
This is just embarrassing. I have no idea what the OC is doing and what the hell is happening in general, but this is ridiculous.

This offense is in a straight jacket.
No need for opponents to worry deep because they won't throw deep. No need to worry about the slow QB because the backup moves even slower. The leading RB from last season gets three or four touches a game.

Sarin was benched for Slayton after failing to fall on that lateral - I wonder if we'll see him next week. That was a pretty weak effort, about as much as when Gillman appeared to step aside for that Bucknell returner en route to the end zone. But Gillman was back and Sarin will be too. Besides, someone has to run up the middle on third down (see above)
