End of 1, Monmouth 7-0.
Hoyas have only one first down and have shown little on offense.

On the Hoyas' following series:
From the GU20 -
Davis carries for no gain. Crawford keeps it for 9 Davis breaks a long run into Monmouth territory.
Then, Ihezzi takes it the rest of the way for the TD!
PAT is good 7-10.

Bottled up on a third and one, Emir Davis goes outside for 40 yards to the Monmouth 34, and Jasper Ihezie follows with 34 yards for the score, 10-7.

Ihezi took it on the reverse, so it appears the OC is mixing things up a bit today.
Monmouth's made a change at QB, inserting Kennedy into the lineup.

Boland has returned at the QB position for Monmouth as they continue their drive. It's unclear why Monmouth made the sub.

Listening to the game, I wouldn't think that Crawford's been completely ineffective. I'm content to see how things continue to play out.

Of greater concern is the fact that Monmouth is driving deep into GU territory. I think they're inside the GU25 with 0:45 left to play in the half. GU's come very close to stopping them on several occasions, but Monmouth continues to get the breaks.
Interestingly, Kennedy is back in again at QB. Apparently the Monmouth staff is looking for a change of pace situation.

is sarin hurt or do you think the coaches think the bigger backs are necessary?

I thought Sarin handed the ball off to Ihezi on the reverse. I can't be sure, but I do get the impression that the staff likes Emir Davis alot. I feel like he's been seeing more and more time with each passing game, and I don't recall alot of freshmen starting from Day 1.
Could very well be that the staff like the prospect of wearing D's down over the course of the game.
Monmouth 2d & goal from the GU02 - gets STUFFED by the D and TIME EXPIRES! No points for Monmouth! Terrible time management!

Monmouth lets the clock run out and gets nothing out of the drive!
