;D Well Thanks DH..... I see a few more individuals have realized that this is not the Hoyas golf team, but a "team sport" called football... You "Doubting Thomas's" need to examine all the roles and responsibilities on the field and off, before you decide to point a finger (or I'll point one back... hehehe). Don't lose faith in the "team" or any one individual. Besides, I've seen that Allan kid play his heart out before and win a State Title! He'll get it done, but not alone. Love ya lil' Bro! Rock on!!!

to say our wide receivers are the biggest weaken on our offense shows you know nothing about the team, our best performers so far have been the receivers and our backs. The biggest weakness on the team is the o-line. And yes receivers have been open all over the field

Good thing Allan played his heart out in the New Jersey State Championship because he's been doing none of that up to this point at georgetown.
Say what you want, but talking to the players it seems that they are all pushing for crawford to take over, or even cangelosi if the coaches are playing for the future as they always seem to be.

Hey HoyaFruitLoop. (Mrs. Crawford, I presume?) It's a shame you've missed all the games. ;D I've seen nothing but, a few Hoyas busting their asses, trying to get it done. PAY ATTENTION! Continue to read "Football for Dummies", there's actually 11 men out there..... Maybe, sister luck will be on our side today! See you at the game! GO HOYAS!!!

Can people on this board stop insinuating that you are related to a player anytime you say something positive about them, this is ridiculous.
Good Luck today guys! Get that win we need!

Allan completed one pass...a screen pass for less than a yard.
Crawford went out and showed he has the passion to win games. He stood in the pocket and threw the ball downfield regardless of the hits he took and something allan didnt do, he threw the ball away when he was out of the pocket. He made things happen and knew how to get rid of the ball when there was pressure and no options downfield.
And no im not mr crawford, im a 21 year old georgetown student.

Sounds like Crawford's Roommate... And wasn't Crawford in there with the second team defense, maybe third...?? If so not impressive stats...

Former Player,
I would advise you to stop accusing people of being either related to someone or being their friend just because you hear something that you dont like. That kind of behavior is absolute BS.
We have the right to voice our opionions without people saying crap like that.
Also, I dont care if Crawford was in against the 5th team defense, at least he actually did something.
Check out the stats, regardless of what defense was out there:
Allan: 1-6 for -1 yard
Crawford: 5-13 for 89 yards
There is really no argument there.
Allan got his chance, he couldnt do it, now let someone else have a shot.

Sorry you're wrong It does matter who's out there!, Not only was it second string, but BU was in a "relaxed" defence. The DB's were giving the WR's about a 15 yard cushin'...I could hit those guys! (of course, they'd have to catch it.) I saw one Crawford pass hit the WR right in the hands. incomplete!... grim

Mr Hoya, Sounds like you take way to much pride in talking on the internet. Maybe you should stop hiding behind your computer and go play football like I did. Somewhat cowardly to "Discuss" matters which you have no relevance to... Good luck with Life sport, or should I said nerd... ;D Former Player, I would advise you to stop accusing people of being either related to someone or being their friend just because you hear something that you dont like. Thanks for your opinion, its a very good point. However, Allan hasn't done anything and someone else deserves a shot. It may have been a softer defense against Crawford but Allan only had one completion the entire game that picked up no yardage, that doesn't warrant another start.

Somewhat cowardly to "Discuss" matters which you have no relevance to... Good luck with Life sport, or should I said nerd... ;D I guess I have no relevance because I'm one of the biggest supporters of Georgetown sports on campus. And just to tell you, Im one of the few people who actually does more than talk on an internet talkboard. I may voice my opinion on here but I actually do things to improve Georgetown sports on campus. I was upset with the direction Hoya Blue was taking and lack of support for the basketball team and Georgetown sports in general on campus so I decided to take action and do things to improve the situation. I've worked my ass off trying to get things done for the coming basketball season but if you just want to criticize me and claim that I'm either Crawford's brother or roomate then fine, be an idiot. I'm not trying to argue with anyone, I just want whats best for the football team and the fact of the matter is that if you think Allan deserves another start over Cangelosi or Crawford then you obviously dont care about the whole football team or the program in general. By the way, calling me a nerd is very intelligent of you, it just shows how impossible it is to have a real discussion with people like you.

oh my goodness. the hoyas have a quarterback who has WON a game this year and passed for positive yardage this week. this particular guy has thrown a TD for his team, not two to the other team. i met this kid in peewee football once who threw 6 int's and no TD's. he quit. but, yeah you guys are right, allen is SO mobile!

Well....Looks like you "arm-chair" athletes will get your wish this week against VMI, Crawford is rumored to start (not really a rumor). Just remember!, anybody can look like a hero against a 0-5 team, this seems to be the team where an inexperience QB can excel. I guess the coaches would rather see a win, then invest in a future Hoya offence... maybe using this game as a motivator for all the other personnel not doing their jobs.... Get it together Hoyas!
