How many out there are planning on attending the spring game this Sunday? Should be interesting to see the new offense under Coach Uzelac and the weather geniuses are saying it will be a pretty day.

Just caught the end of the spring game this afternoon. Offense won 42-29, but I didn't really see enough to make evaluations of players.

I'm new to Hoya football, but I did make a few observations. The two defensive ends are real playmakers...quick and tough. They are a little undersized but at the IAA level, they should be excellent. There also were some nice plays made by a couple of D-Backs as they supported against the run. The first team QB threw well on the run and the offense showed some positive signs given that they only had 15 days to learn a whole new system. In the latter part of the scrimmage, they were able to break a few runs and the RB's seemed to be quick and didn't go down easily. Sorry that I don't know the names yet, but I will be learning this fall.

Just to fill in with the little info I have from the game.
I caught probably the last 10 minutes. When I got there, Crawford was in at QB -- didn't do much in the air, handed off to Kim Sarin for one nice gain, lost a fumble in the backfield at one point.
In the last few possessions, Keith Allen came in as QB. I don't remember him passing the ball at all. A few decent handoffs, and one long quarterback draw (or it might have been a sweep) that went for about 25 yards.
