LU
Pro style QB 6/4" 225 2000 yd. passer, says ball is in LU's court.
Having looked at the Rivals board, it appears GU & LU are competing for a LB out of Texas, who aspires to D-IA, rather than D-IAA. Would be nice to edge out one of the established Patriot League powers for a nice recruit.

Nice board. Sorry it has taken me so long to visit.Congrats to the GU class so far. Gu and FU seem to have both done well. Everyone in PL,except HC, has done better this year.

That LB out of Texas is out of Pearce HS in Richardson, TX. Runs a 4.6 40 and benches/squats 300/500lbs. Seems he's genuinely down to GU & Lehigh; let's hope he makes the right choice. ;D

I'm at work right now (ugh) so I can't access the Rivals board (all my account stuff's at home), but from what I recall this potential recruit has a solid 3.0+ GPA and a very respectable SAT score. I don't know much about Tex. schools, but it seemed to me he's a bright person who wants to continue the solid education he seems to be getting so far (judging by his current choice between Lehigh & GU and the Div-IA programs he was interested in, if memory serves).
Still haven't heard anything, but perhaps the Lehigh boards have some more info on him...

Excellent student. Profile on school OK . No word yet on choice. Altho from what I gather from LU camp they are just about finished except for a few spots. So Iwould expect more announcements mid week. Only my guess.

Lehigh has announced its recruiting class for 2004, and it does not include the LB out of Texas, so GU's odds may just have gotten better, although I presume the LB is still looking at other programs. Additionally, Lehigh's list did not include a QB out of Virginia that rated ** on the Rivals service, even though Lehigh was the QB's top target.
More as things develop..

Lehigh has announced its recruiting class for 2004, and it does not include the LB out of Texas, so GU's odds may just have gotten better, although I presume the LB is still looking at other programs. It appears that LB, Patrick Martell from Pearce HS in Richardson, TX, signed with D-III Trinity University in TX. Seems a little puzzling, given that he reportedly had offers from Lehigh & GU, but I guess he wanted to stay closer to home and be a big fish in a little pond. Good luck to him. www.wfaa.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt/city/richardson/stories/020804dnriCEacob.1b713.html(free registration required)#nosmileys

That does sound a little odd, but I guess there's no place like Texas (thankfully)...
