Should we beat them, who do we get next? Who won the other Hawaii games?
I hope the guys come out like a house afire and blow the hell out of LBS.

The matchups for the next round are on the front page.
Georgetown will play either Clemson or Indiana State on Thursday.

I think I want to beat LBS and then take on Clemson in the next round.
We need to face more tough teams and Clemson is not chopped liver this year.

Not saying that this is going to happen, but a win over LB St. and then Clemson would make this tournament a success in my eyes. I think I'd rather lose the first game and win the next two as opposed to losing the last game heading into two cupcake games prior to Big East schedule.

Agreed, Hoyaplaya.
One "learning" loss and 2 wins would make this tourney a success in my eyes as well.
Basically, any challenging game is a bonus for this squad right now as they continue to mold and improve.

I agree that two wins would make for a successful tournament despite the first round loss, but disagree as to preferring a loss-win-win pattern over a win-win-loss pattern. The latter pattern would almost certainly have provided us with three strong opponents. I would rather have beaten Oral Roberts and then beat Hawaii in Hawaii, followed by a loss most likely to UAB, than have our loss to ORU followed by wins over LBSU and most likely Clemson.

Sounds like the past does not register. Let's stop talking about two wins and just concentrate on beating Long Beach, otherwise we might be looking at another 18 point loss.

Good point, although as long as the coaches and players are focusing on one game at a time, I'm okay with making these "long-term" projections.

they are going to be tough, they played hawaii tough.we need to worry about beating long beach stae, before we talk 2-1 would be good.hoyas are not going to beat many teams by blowouts, they will have to fight for every win this year they get,i hope we come out ready instead of down over mon.
