Kinda tough to stay under the radar when outlets such as SI talk ab out you being under the radar.

"Summers was one of the top recruits in the country last year, but there was only so many shot opportunities with Jeff Green on the roster"
Oh yeah, Jeff took so many of our shots last year. What is he talking about? Everyone who talks about Jeff Green says his stats are skewed because he did not take enough shots in our system.

This is kind of like the talk about Jonathan Wallace being the most under rated guard in the country. Eventually, this talk leads to people being 'rated' or even over-rated--though that hardly seems to be a problem in Wallace's or DaJuan's case.
As an aside, there seems to be one story that gets rehashed by the media all year long (last year was JTIII & PEjr following in their fathers' footsteps), I really hope this doesn't become this year's main media fix.

Man this is a tough crowd. One of our well-deserving guys gets a little recognition and what happens? Everyone attacks the writer?
Maybe we need to chill for a minute. Personally, I think it is great he is bring recognized.
Let's face it, DaJuan didn't put up numbers like Kevin Durant or Scottie Reynolds, nor did he make the impression that Greg Oden or Mike Conley did. -- Yes, we all know in our system, no one puts up big numbers. Jeff and Roy were the focus of the team last year. So realizing just how much DaJuan contributed and how much potential he has is a good thing!
GO HOYAS!

um sir saxa, no one is comparing dajuan to durant...maybe you need to chillax a bit pops.
what i am saying is seth davis is an acc homer and a know-nothing who i don't respect for his basketball knowledge. he comes out of his hole every March along with Gotdweeb and piles on the hoyas.
dajuan made himself known LAST year is my point...once again i refer people to the UNC game as one of his coming out parties.
3 most hatiest people i hate: 1. Gotdweeb 2. Gary Parrish 3. Seth Davis

If you talk to people in other programs who don't follow the hoyas, they don't know who Dajuan is and therefore his point is justified.
Ex. My friends are Indiana fans and I grew up there. I couldn't tell you who is on their squad outside of DJ White & Eric Gordon. Therefore someone like Bassett is "under the radar" as he is not a national name. Just proving a point. Most could only name Hibbert & Jeff on our team last year if they were not a GTown or Big East fan. I think that is his point.

Let's keep him under the radar for as long as possible.
