The worst college sports related 9/11 analogy since Joe Lang describing the Esherick era. Anyone have a link to that quote for old times sake?

They are very young and without Steele they struggle up top. Have good athletes and a banger in Hendrix, but really struggle from the perimeter. GU should play zone and work their stuff on offense. 'just curious what the response would have been had I posted this thread initially .... Methinks it would have been moved to the pro and college board, as well as met with typical "get your SEC talk out of here" rubbish. I am sure that you all will spin your way to relevancy, and I can't say that I would argue ... but in all seriousness, had I been the one to start this thread, I can only imagine how different the comments could be. Egads, just think if Bama had won the game and THEN I started this thread .... <SHOCK> .... as Adam West told Burt Ward, "there are some things that man was not meant to know."

Ummm, maybe it is relevant b/c we play Alabama next week.
However, I generally agree that any thread started by you should be ignored or moved to the pro and college board. I thought I had you on ignore already. Need to remedy that.

Are you comparing the way you are treated on this message board to the confusion of languages amongst the members of the UN Security Council following their re-liquification after Commodore Schmidlapp's knocking over and sneezing on their de-liquified powders? That's even worse than a 9/11 and sports comparison.

I thought I made it intuitively clear that I understand how a thread about Bama basketball could be considered as worthy material for Hoya Hoops talk, given the circumstances. All I was pointing out was that I doubt such latitude would have been extended, had I been the one to initially bring it up.

It must be basketball season again ... hifi is suffering from martyrdom hypochondria.
Bama shouldn't be a problem for the Hoyas. Man, with all of our opponents' (Bama, L'ville, Cuse, Balls[TATE]) players getting injuried this season could be veeeeery interesting.

All I was pointing out was that I doubt such latitude would have been extended, had I been the one to initially bring it up. That's because--per usual--the post would have been about YOU or Florida and certainly wouldn't have been centered around a weakness in the game of an upcoming Hoyas opponent.
