I MEAN ROOKIE OF THE WEEK, ooops.
I have a final in 45 minutes, so I can't really elaborate, but I saw the headline on bigeast.org.
CONGRATS JEFF!

Awesome, and he deserved it. I was gonna be extremely angry if they gave it to Rudy Gay again just because of his reputation. From BigEast.org: JEFF GREEN, Georgetown, F, Fr. Green averaged 15.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.3 blocks in a 2-1 week for the Hoyas. His most productive scoring effort came in a 74-59 loss to No. 1 Illinois when he had 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting. He also grabbed six rebounds and blocked three shots. Green, a native of Hyattsville, Md., posted his first collegiate double-double with 18 points and 10 boards in a 66-53 victory over Penn State. bigeast.org/sports/mbball/index.asp

He should pick up many more of these as the season goes on. He has a real good nose for the ball, and he is tenacious underneath, which is going to help him get to the foul line.

Jeff is a gem.
We will keep developing, Jeff included, and become a team no one wants to play by the end of the year. Bank on it.

Does anybody else get silly excited when you see Jeff, Jonathan, and Roy all on the court at once? Think of how scary that's gonna be in 2-3 years. Wow.

During the last parts of the game, i think, there were four freshmen and reed playing in the game. I thought that was awesome. Our freshmen alone could play and we wouldn't be very bad!

punctuation, man!
this board can only support one punctuation-averse member and we have jchoya, who is generally very highly-regarded around these parts...

As long as we are talking about Jeff Green, we should all give credit to Craig Esherick for getting this kid to come to Georgetown, and Roy for that matter.

As TrueHoya said-thanks Esh for getting Jeff (and Roy) to come. And then thanks for leaving so we could get a real coach to make sure that both of them live up to their potential.
Oh and congrats Jeff...
