It seems like we have some decent ideas on how to fill the MCI center with G'town fans (or at least people). Starting with the $1 upper deck seats. I had another idea that needs input:
What about giving away these seats to area high schools? We would coordinate it with the basketball coaches at those schools so we could make sure their team came (develop goodwill...) but it would not be exclusive to the team. We extend 100 tickets to five high schools per game and say the students have to have at least a C average to qualify for the freebies. Thoughts?
Other ideas? I hated seeing the Illini orange pack the stands and G'town fans being outnumbered yet again.

I remember in my days of youth Stanford did something like this to promote their football games. If you were on the honor roll or something in junior high you could get tickets on the cheap for selected home games. Great way to develop interest in the program.
