Chad Ford on 2008 Draft

I'm not sure if this was on here. I remember something about '08 projections a few weeks ago, but this might be updated.

I'm not an Insider, but where does Chad have Roy? I think it's insane that he's not in the top 10, but where's he actually at?

I don't think he has a top 100 for 2008 yet. I get bounced back to 2007 when I try to get to the 2008 listing (I do have the insider subscription).

Edit -- And, yeah, completely nuts to not have Roy in there but have Speights and Lopez in there. This was discussed on another thread. Almost seems like a mistake - he made the list when he was assuming that Roy would go this year?

Hibbert announced on April 13 that he would declare for the 2007 NBA Draft. He didn't hire an agent, preserving his college eligibility once he chose to return to Georgetown for his senior season.

Positives: Solid big man with great size, strength and length. Can rebound, block shots and play physical defense. Hard worker who improved tremendously over the past two seasons. Good hands. Nice footwork in the paint. Good low-post passer. Decent range on his jump shot. Good basketball IQ.

Negatives: He's not a great athlete. Lumbering isn't the right word, but he does play fairly robotically. A lack of explosiveness or quickness to his game will hurt him at the next level. Not much of a rebounder considering his size.

Summary: He's been all over the boards with scouts over the past few years. They love his size and potential, but his strong play in the second half of the season and in the NCAA Tournament has him back as a likely late lottery to mid-first-round pick. His decision to stay in school one more season will pay off if he can dominate for Georgetown as a senior.
