Stewart is now a solid 5-star recruit. Every high major wants him, especially since he's been dominating at La Lumiere...
Him + McClung would be a dream come true.

Have to be a serious player here until the end. Absolutely. All the high majors are in on Isaiah now and the situation is very volatile. With that said, I believe that we are still favorites to get him. Literally every factor is working in our favor here: -Isaiah is Jamaican and wears #33 (I am only inferring here, let me know if I am wrong) because he looked up to Patrick Ewing, a Jamaican, who HAPPENS TO BE OUR COACH. -Isaiah played two years of High School Basketball at a fantastic Jesuit High School in upstate New York that sends many students to Georgetown every year. -Isaiah has received counsel ( for years? my characterization here could also be off) from one of the most distinguished alumni of our school, who WAS A BASKETBALL PLAYER and played with Ewing. Ultimately, this decision is up to the player. Isaiah is a great player and we are up against basically every major player in college basketball. Hopefully he picks us... I obviously think it would be a perfect fit.

I think we are the favorites to get Isaiah.
He has worn #33 for the last five+ years of prep basketball, for a reason. The fact that Patrick Ewing is our coach, is actually meaningful. Patrick Ewing would dramatically improve Stewart's game. Nothing is ever certain, for sure, but Stewart has been coached for YEARS by a former GEORGETOWN VARSITY BASKETBALL athlete. After THAT, he attended the best Jesuit High School in Rochester/Upstate, NY - McQuaid.
But ultimately we don't know anything for sure. He will likely hold an offer from a dozen high major schools within a year and that's who we are competing with. That is a totally unpredictable situation.

My cousin told me JTIII a Georgetown assistant was at the McQuaid - East game tonight. McQuaid won convincingly, I think their starters only played half the game or something like that.

the title of this thread says it all: awesome. also, and this may be reading too much into it, but i love how he didn't even have enough confidence in DPS/MPD to include them in the stakeout...he did it all himself, THEN only called DPS (who of course called MPD...) when he had the guy. and, to second one of the article comments, let's get this guy on the cuddler's case...he'll have him in no time... Your assumption is accurate. I had a lengthy argument with the cops a few days before all this went down. "Sir, was the ipod secured, or was it not secured?" "No, officer, the iPod was not mummified to a bike rack." They seemed to care about irrelevant nonsense. The police were, very simply, total disgraces. They actively sabotaged my attempts to catch this criminal. They had no interest in solving the crime starting at my first substantiated utterance that the perpetrator was a fellow student. I asked them for assistance during the sting and they said no. They were as much of an adversary as the actual thief.

Rochester's Democrat & Chronicle did a wonderful story about Isaiah here. Rochester's ABC affiliate did another great story here and did a shorter story here. As you read/watch you may experience feelings of optimism choice facts: -grounded personality -attends Rochester's only Jesuit school -is of Jamaican descent and wears 33 because his favorite player is Patrick Ewing -actually met Ewing courtesy of Rochester's best orthopedic surgeon Mike Maloney, who was also a Georgetown hoops walk-on - TOTAL BASKETBALL GENIUS-fourteen years old I would be really happy if we got Isaiah. He seems like a great kid.
