Sadly, there are now two more men in NYC that can't breathe. I wonder if De Blasio will attend their funerals. Really? These officers are dead a few hours and people are falling all over themselves to point fingers of blame and disgust at politicians & protestors instead of praying for these officer's families.

No police force trains officers to do what Wilson did. Even if you accept his account of what happened at the car door, that danger was over when Brown fled so it does not justify what happened down the street. This is exactly my thoughts on the Brown shooting.. The fact that Wilson left the safety of his vehicle to pursue Brown bothers me, if he was that scared for his life why not keep a safe distance while you await back-up? Also the fact that I've never heard that Brown's fingerprints were found on his gun, the forensic reports state "DNA" was found which I always thought meant blood.. Wilson stated in both his interview with the detective after the shooting and the Grand Jury that Brown grabbed his gun so shouldn't there have been prints left? Thoughts Talos? Office Wilson used the exact same story as Zimmerman. Young unarmed black kid went for his gun and he was forced to shoot him to death.

Otto was the #3 pick in the draft. That comes with pretty high expectations. Michael Jordan was the #3 pick in the draft. Otto is not in the starting lineup and is averaging 20 minutes, 6 ppg, 45% FG, and 31% 3FG. Are we supposed to be impressed with those numbers? He is a bust in the making, unless things turn around. You don't draft someone #3 overall for this type of contribution and frailty. By comparison, Jeff Green, the #5 overall pick, started 78 games in his second season and averaged 16.5 ppg (with Durant in the lineup next to him). I'm not writing Otto off, but I have watched him play numerous games this season, and he is underwhelming, given his high draft selection. Again, at least his team is successful and he can enjoy competitive games and gain some playoff experience. Hopefully, we can turn it around. Valid point Otto is not as good as Michael Jordan #Heisabust

In the US in 2012 approximately 130 blacks were killed by gunfire from white police officers. In the same year approximately 330 whites were killed by gunfire from white police officers. Taking into account the number of black to white citizen in the USA there clearly is not an epidemic of police white on black killings yet the media wants to portray the current state as such. Whatever your opinion I still feel that the field, court, boardroom, operating room is not the place to hold discourse. I would rather our student-athletes use the classroom. Whites have 5 times the population in this country that blacks do. Yet blacks account for 40% of the number of deaths as whites. That means they are 2.5 times over represented by population. How you translated that into clearly not an epidemic is beyond me.

I'm waiting for an athlete to wear a shirt saying when a cop says you are under arrest don't resist. Then we will see who really believes in free speech. Yeah all the people who call them ignorant will be exercising their free speech.

Not really Georgetown's faculties and alums are some of the most well-known liberal politicians. School has always had more left wing sentiment than the right while I was there. Georgetown is an academic institution and students have right to express their opinions. I think it gets on the softer side when student athletes do it, rather than the professional players. I didn't realize only liberals and left wingers thought choking someone to death is tragic. I always knew Bush was a liberal. Same with Fox News, bunch of left wingers.

No one would have expected greene to have a career game. It didn't seem like JT3 made the appropriate adjustments to the hot hand. Hopefully the team gels by mid conference play. The potential is there for a great season this year. I think this team is going to cause all the other big east teams problems.

League needs to get aggressive or will fall behind and quickly become a mid major in the landscape. The former BE has nothing to do with what is left in this conference. This is a critical time for the BE to step up and think outside the box or be left behind. Left behind how? If we win games, get recruits, and make noise in March we will get attention. If we don't who cares anyway

Thank you! This is an utter disaster with the Big East "network" that doesn't provide access in many of the Big East cities. Who in the Big East didn't do their home work and get this nailed down. FoxSports apps remove the Big East if you are in Big East region as a black out. How did taking money not to show games become a thing? Sorry, a bit livid with the lack of competence around this. First time since 1993 I have not had tv access to Hoyas games in DC area. They are always on somewhere. (Actually a few years when had season tickets I have no idea if they were not on cable somewhere). But, this is 2014 and everything is on cable except on fake cable channels.</rant> This channel has nothing to do with the big east it's the tournament that sold the TV rights to axs TV.
