excuse this posters spelling ... but I found this on the net regarding S.M:
I saw Lew Wallace play Lalumiere friday night and I was blwon away by the Center from Croatia. He is listed at 6'10 240 and I can say I never saw a high school kid with that body and strength who could get off the floor like that. I mean LW could not stop him and I mean they were throwing him lob passes and he dunked on our whole team at least 4 times with ease. There is no doubt , he is a big time player. I saw Matt Painter at the game and also anothe coach from North Carolina State. This kid is the real deal. His name is Sandy Marcis or somthing like that. Anyone know where he is going?

Has been said to be a lock for the Cuse ... FWIW ... decent player when he plays team ball ... I've seen him play quite a few times ...don't think we're involved.

LOL - cool thread ... well .. My wife knows when its game day because I wake up around 8am and I clean the house .... then I make her breakfast and ask her what her plans are for the day (She usually reply's "Why , you trying to get rid of me?" ) My answer : "Um .. not really but ... you know how I get when my BOYZ play so .. :::SHRUGS SHOULDERS:::: " by this point , I read the Daily News and set my DVR to record even though I know I'll be glued to the TV ... & By game time - I've already ordered my Bottle of Grey Goose Orange W/ Cranberry (By half time I'm semi-saucey and very loud). . . and try to control my butterfly's until tipoff ... My song of choice before the game changes - but today it will be : GO HARD - Kanye West feat. T-Pain ect ....

Filo ... I never knew you where from JC .... thats cool ... I'm from South Jersey but I've been in North Jersey for over 15 yrs .... My buddy works for St. Anthony's and is very close to Mr. Hurley and the program .. Cheeks would have went to KU with his buddy Ty Taylor .. but they did the OKIE DOKE and he felt like they where playing games .. I'm excited he stayed in the B.E and I look forward to watching him play in our league ... the Friars have a good team again this year and alot of youngings coming up ... at any rate .. your point about JTIII bringing in great players is right on - not only that , but great local players - which is most important .... the DMV area has produced some talent as of late and the future looks even better ... I think we're building a great program and I only want players that wanna be here. on that note - BEAT THE TIGERS!! HOYA SAXA

If rebounding and Defense are the Best parts of his game ... Maybe he can help ..
Forward Andre Marhold (2009: Charlotte North Mecklenburg) Marhold holds an offer from Clemson, and NC State and Pittsburgh are in the mix. Currently he's a four-man in a three's body, but makes up for his lack of ideal size with explosiveness and a solid mid-range game.
Marhold will need to extend his range and sure up his ballhandling, but he is as exciting a player as their is

It will be embarrassing to lose to them ... yea they beat Mich St. (without a key player) , but they are not a good team .. I watched them play and I'd go on a hunger strike if we lose to them ... besides that .. their fans on Scouts.com are so annoying .... and beyond delusional .. GREG IS GONNA ABUSE THEM in the worst way! lol

that sequence was when we had a 8pt lead .. your right we wont win many games allowing that to happen .. that changed the outcome of this game BIG time ... but what I witness shows we can play with anyone .. we should have taken advantage with Chism out and we did ... but Tenn. out hustled us and earned that win .. I'm upset that we lost - but more how we gave it away .. this lose will help us down the road and I think this team can be in the thick of things in the B.E ... there was alot of positives in this game that will hopefully wake our team up in the coming games ... with that said .. Tenn is a very athletic team and they got alot of rolls today - Tatum will never shoot like that for the rest of the yr... over-all .. no reason to hang our head - WE ARE YOUNG .. we will learn ..

that kid is huge for being 14 ... WOW
true 7 Footer Jordan Omogbehim only a freshman in the class of 2011 with the DC Blue Devils. Roy Hibbert is probably the closest comparison to Jordan who will play his high school ball with Stu Vetter and Montrose Christian in Rockville , MD next year. When Roy was 14 he was about 7'1" skinny and uncoordinated. Jordan has an NBA sized body already at age 14 , the kid is very strong. Where he lacks ability is running the court and foot coordination much like Hibbert in his younger days who is tremendously improved at Georgetown University and an upcoming lottery pick in the NBA draft. Though it is still very early who wouldn't want a shot at developing a 7 footer.
