OK, so today I was supposed to stick to my best Michael Scott impression, which is on display on the other boards, I have to break character, because I'm pretty peeved at what the self professed Georgetown fan blogger/HT poster BasketballLifestyle posted most recently on his poorly written/researched blog. Of course, this post is already old news (and much has happened in the "lifestyle" in the past week), but who's counting? A quotation:
I know this shouldn't be a big deal, but this is from the same guy who thinks that Georgetown and the Atlanta Hawks share team colors. He grabs all his "news" from this website, and then he goes out and trashes the player most responsible for Georgetown's resurgence in the world of basketball? The same player who was consistently the most humble superstar in the NCAA and will develop into the most humble star in the NBA. I don't know whether Jeff refused to give this schmoe an interview or what, but every credible report I've heard is that Jeff is a great guy (and anyone who's met any of his friends/teammates knows that they, too, are great guys).
So, BasketballLifestyle, you can post anything you want on the internets, but prove to us that you are something other than the worst fan around and take this crap off the web. You consistently demonstrate that journalism is above your pay grade, but this is egregious.
Oh, here's the link to the web-rag (still on its Playoffs/Finals Edition...oops):

Jeff Green officially announced he is keeping his name in the NBA Draft. Not that we care anymore, it’s just going to another great year at Georgetown. I wish Jeff the best of luck. But to me he was an arrogant player who only talked at times and seemed to think he was the . So i could care less if he comes back at all. There’s more to Georgetown then Jeff Green. So long and don’t come back.
