Anybody in LA have an organized place to watch the Illinois game? I've called around in Westwood and nobody seems to have the ESPN college basketball package, so I'm guessing I'll be headed to either Sharkeez in Manhattan Beach, the Shack in Marina Del Rey or somewhere in Santa Monica (assuming one of them has ESPN Full Court). Either way I'll be late as I don't get out of class until tip off.

I'm a student at georgetown right now, but I'm an Orange County native that traditionally watches Hoya games over breaks at the Fox Sports Bar at the Irvine Spectrum OR the ESPNZone at Disneyland. They definitely have ESPN PLUS at ESPNZone. Both places are fun and comfortable. Call ahead to make sure they are gonna play the "Illinois" game, as suggesting they play the game featuring the #1 team is more effective than just saying "Georgetown". Get to either place early to stake out a spot.
Good luck! Represent for the CA-HOYAS.

there have usually been viewing parties in LA about once a year for a big game but those were always on network tv and the places we went were not full court places.
I work downtown LA & live in Long beach. if you are looking to head down to the LBC I could possibly join you.
in long beach there is Legends in belmont which is where I have watched games before on Full Court and Smooth's on Pine which is new and I havent been to yet but they have full court.
as for OC there is a place in OC where the alumni club has had viewing things before called "the corner office" right by s. coast plaza.

I live in Santa Monica although can't say I have been to that many sports bars, but I would try Yankee Doodles on the Promende in SM, or Over/Under on Wilshire & 14th ... there's also a couple on 26th and Wilshire (can't remember the names right now). Westwood Brewing company you probably already tried and that's a long shot as they'll be "repping" the Wack-10 I would imagine ...
hope that helps
