to my fellow board members and Hoya fans because not only will I not be in attendance for the game against Illinois, I just found out that I won't be watching it on Full Court or following it in the HoyaChat room. Apparently, the wife has gotten front row tickets to Beauty and the Beast tomorrow night at the Charlotte Convention Center and I will be sitting through that crap. THIS SUCKS!! For those at the game, please be sure to give the Illini hell and let's go out there and pull off the upset.

What's the problem? Isn't Beauty and the Beast the story of JTIII and Esh? It isn't? It's a Disney musical? Oh, gosh, the horror of it all!
Actually, it's not such a big deal. If you can get Full Court, just record the game and watch it when you get home. Don't listen to the sports on your way home, so it will be like watching it live. And you can skip the commercials! Being out here on the left coast, that's my modus operandi for any televised Hoya game that starts before 11:00 pm Eastern time during the week, and also for just about every national championship game since they started playing on Monday night.

I have a general question for people: is the NCAA Full Court package only available via DirecTV like the NFL Sunday Ticket is? Can I order it over my digital cable carrier? If so, the DVR might come in handy!!!!
GO HOYAS!!!

I tried last year to get it via comcast...they were no help. But then again, you never know if its just the incompetency of the person taking your call or that of the company. They did offer me college football and NASCAR...and the NBA....but were puzzled that I wanted ESPN fullcourt.

Buffalo, it is not exclusive to DirecTV, but a lot of digital cable is run on old, low bandwidth cables, so they often don't have enough channels to have FC. It's often one of the first ones cut, in favor of pro PPV.
Call your cable company.

Good idea, I didn't even think of that one. I'll just record it and check it out when I get home. As much as I love my hoyas, it will be my 2 year olds first Disney experience and the wife is currently 5 months pregnant. For those who have children, you will understand that it's not a viable option to say "Honey, I don't think I can make it because there is a Hoya game and I need to watch it on TV".

Happy to be of service, Hoyaplaya. I'll be curious if your 2 year old is able to sit through the show. My guess is he/she will either fall asleep, or start making noise and rustling about. We have an 18 month old who loves music (we have played classical music for her since she was 2 days old), and we are thinking of taking her to her first (free) concert on December 19. Good times!

It will be interesting. He also loves music and has been listening to it since birth. I'm hoping that he makes it through at least most of the show. I'll give you an update tomorrow night when I check the board.
