If both Jeff & Roy return, I am guessing you are looking at a 100 to 150% increase in the donation levels for season ticket holders. When you drop this on top of last years 250% increase, that is a mighty big jump in two years.
As a season ticket holder, I am willing to support it but I hope they give III the contract that is commensurate with this increase.
Also, regardless of Jeff/Roy, I think the improvement of Summers & V Mack are going to make us a more solid squad from top to bottom.
Tick, tick, tick

Tick, tick, tick If the increases are anything above 10-20%, you'll see a drop in season ticket numbers at least in the lower level. There has never been an excess of demand on season tickets, but I know a lot of people who really hated that price increase last year and who would just decide to scrap the season tickets and buy individual seats to the 5-8 best games of the year for less money (and lower level seats are always available through scalpers, StubHub, Ticketmaster, etc.). Georgetown fans are not stupid - they will do what makes sense and paying out the nose for a handful of lousy games and games your schedule does not allow you to attend is not worth it no matter how much you want to support the university.

Dhall, maybe true, but you need to factor in that 100% of that goes to GU vs the tickets and that is tax deductible. If you talk about supporting the program, getting the coach a contract, etc. you need to continue your support in this manner.
It is obvious you could pass on a lot of the trash games and still get tix to the big ones, but how much do you really support the team/univ?

That's a good point, but the reality is that the required donation is a lot of money, and people's view of the HHC/Basketball as a charity goes to different lengths for different people. Basketball leadership continuing to think of it as a charity instead of as a product to sell will continue to limit our ability to fundraise successfully.

It is obvious you could pass on a lot of the trash games and still get tix to the big ones, but how much do you really support the team/univ? Well, I could still donate the $1250 to the program that I donated last year as a result of my ticket purchase and then only buy individual game tickets for the good games. So I donate the same amount, which is not peanuts, but now they've caused me to cancel my season tickets by raising prices again on those so the games against Hartford, Fairfield, Savannah State, etc. are even emptier than they were last year.
