So here's another question. Last week I was hanging with my wife and somehow we got on the subject of the Hoyas and I said, "I probably think about our Final Four appearance every two or three hours." She looked at me like I had gone berzerk. "How is that possible?" she asked. I further told her that it was one of the greatest achievements of my life, stipulating that I didn't have any physical impact on the game, but in the cosmic sense I think it is at least plausible that I had something to do with it. I could see her growing discomfort and wondered whether she was about the whip out the Catechism to see if sports psychosis was grounds for annulment.
My two questions are: How often do you think about the Hoyas Final Four appearance? And two, what do your wives/girlfriends think of it?

I am at least once an hour, more if you include fascinating about future final fours. I would never share those thoughts with my wife. She is already convinced I'm nuts - I don't need to fuel those thoughts any further.

I think the real question, Frank, is do you think of the Final Four more often than sex? I bet Lic could have a field day with that response!

About every four hours for me. I asked my wife and she said she at least thinks of it once a week. And she went to ND.

at least once a day, though i think about the carolina game the most. my wife is a duke fan, but i had her wearing my old joey brown jersey and rooting for the hoyas during the BE and ncaa tourneys.

I think about the tourney multiple times a day but my wife has already written me off as hopelessly ridiculous in my love for th Hoyas. At least 3 times I day I tell someone I wish it was next season already.
After big wins she tells me I don't think I've ever made you that happy. I assure her she does. But I've got her wearing Georgetown gear almost every weekend so she has learned to embrace the obsession.

Didn't go to Georgetown, so I don't think about it as much as you guys...
But I watch the Carolina game about twice a week...I usually start the tape at the moment Jeff went backdoor and gave the heels some two-fisted fury, or when we get down by ten and make our final push in regulation.
Then I'll get to OT and watch Dajuan's baseline dunk about 6 times (3 X in super slow motion), then cut off the tape and turn on Madden...
My wife thinks it's crazy that I'd do this for a school that I didn't even attend...I tell her that she just doesn't understand...

I wouldn't say I think about the FF as often as Frank, and like a lot of you the Carolina victory sticks in my mind more than the FF. That game, and the BE championship.
As for my wife, she's a Hoya, went with me to almost every game, and gets wrapped up in the hysteria, but she really doesn't undertsand at all my rewatching old games for the thousandth time or even checking out HoyaSaxa.com. She is VERY thankful to HoyaSaxa.com, though, for one thing - threads like this one have assured her that I'm not the only nut in the world obsessed with Hoya hoops. In fact, as some of you demonstrate on a regular basis, a bunch of you are way more cracked than I am!
Thanks, and Hoya Saxa!

I think about the Final Four every step I take. I was so aggravated with 7 minutes left that I jumped up to punch a sign on my way to the bathroom and I tore cartilage in my knee. Had it operated on 2 weeks ago.
My wife generally refuses to watch games with me. She was very nervous about letting me bring my 6 year old to the Hall game this year (for obvious reasons....see statement above).
Side note, does any one else see ads for "Annulments" as the banner ads in this thread.

I'd say i defiently think about georgetown every hour or so. It's not always concentrated on the fianl four but often it is. My girlfriend says she thinks about georgetown basketball at least once a day, but like i said it's not always about the final four trip.
