Class of 09. The are both considered top 5 wing players in that class. I'm not sure if Gtown is recruiting them yet, but I wonder how they compare with Joseph. A small forward is not important for 08, but it will be crucial for the 09 class.

All the folks on the Maryland board have been in love with Vinson since he was a freshman. He's a 5 star guy for '05. Have heard that Armwood is a freak athlete, I think I saw him compared to Tyrus Thomas somewhere. They have another pretty good forward out at Montrose too I wanna say.
III hasn't recruited Montrose too much... there was some interest in Bowie I think when it didn't look like Chris Wright would be a Hoya. Other than that not that I remember... we'll see if III can get in with Vetter in '09. Anyone know who these guys play AAU with? Assault?

vinson played more around the basket last year, and is trying to become more of a face up three man. armwood is a run and jump guy, that fills lanes and dunks, but struggles in half court settings, particularly when having to face and attack.
armwood is longer and more athletic, while vinson is stronger and more skilled.
both are works in progress, for the division 1 three man spot, with vinson further along.
joseph is more skilled than both, from the perspective of shooting range, handle, and passing skills. and he's bigger than vinson. probalby more athletic than vinson too.
armwood is probably more athletic than kris. they have an extra year to develop, so we will see how they develop.
last year, the 09 kids played with jason clark and won the 16u main event title with bethesda magic. this year, the 09 motrose mustangs are playing with the bmore stars, along with henry sims and troy franklin jr. (clark, as you probably know, is playing with triple threat).
