/\ Because there is no gurantee you will go 3 next year...you all make it seem so easy. Just like your stock can go up it can also go DOWN. You strike while the iron is hot in these situations. I mean according to your logic...every lottery prospect not named Greg Oden and Kevin Durant might as well come back so they can get a crack at one of those top 3 spots. Two points here: 1. 7th vs. 3rd for Jeff is, let's face it, not different enough for an NBA-ready forward prospect to care about. I agree there. The only reason for Jeff to return at that point would be to win a title. 2. But I'll maintain my position that just about no matter where Roy is he really should come back. NBAdraft has him compared to Joel Przybilla, who was in fact the 9th pick in his draft. One problem: Joel Przybilla is TERRIBLE. Yes, he's tall. Yes, he's still in the league. Yes he was drafted top 10. No, he's not a good professional basketball player. Roy has the potential to be so much better. Get in better condition, refine your game, add a jumper and then hit the league. It isn't an easy decision but Roy will be glad some day that he decided not to leave for the tantalizing prospect of being Joel Przybilla. Roy > Przybilla right now. Przybilla sat out all or part of his last year in the NCAAs b/c of a spat w/ Dan Monson at Minnesota. He is now, and always has been, the working definition of a stiff. I'm pretty sure Roy would dominate him like he dominated Gray if The 7'2 Experience and Przybilla matched up.
