Didnt know if anyone had news concerning a renegotiation of "the chosen ones" contract. I am sure he is using this opportunity as leverage for some facilities upgrades. It will be interesting to see what all he can squeeze out of the hill.

Whatever discussions may be taking place this week will NOT lead to a quick resolution of a new contract. The circumstances, personal & school-specific, as well as the program needs require due diligence on the part of all negotiators.
PLEASE BE PATIENT & HAVE FAITH!

And - considering that JTIII's original contract terms (not to mention his father's, or Craig Esherick's) were not made public, I can't imagine we'll hear anything.

And - considering that JTIII's original contract terms (not to mention his father's, or Craig Esherick's) were not made public, I can't imagine we'll hear anything. After Esherick signed, we did here he got a new 7 year contract. Other details may not have been released, but the contract was announced. Clarification: Contemporary reports said he signed an extension in 2003. It was not a seven year contract, but an extension from the two years remaining on the 1999-00 agreement. The extension would have gone into effect in 2004.--Admin
