I wanted to start this thread a month ago, but was way too superstitious to do so.
It seems as though we suffered no significant injuries to a starter (or anyone else, really) for the entire season. Is that right? Isn't it rather remarkable for a team to go an entire year without any significant injuries?
I guess Tyler's early-season illness could count, but he was never really entrenched as a starter, and I guess the Egerson situation had a similar effect as a season-ending injury.

Rivers' development was stunted quite a bit when he rolled his ankle early in the season. Though it wouldn't have helped his shot (only a billion hours in the gym this summer can do that), continued PT early could have helped our ball handling and defense during the late-fall....when we had problems with both.

Thanks for officially jinxing us for the 07-08 season, MP32. This will not be forgotten...

Check the photo of Patrick Jr. in the Sunday Washington Post. He has a wrap supporting his right thumb. Apparently the injury was extremely painful and he was playing on "guts only". May need surgery on the thumb in the off season. This could explain why his performance against Ohio State was not his usual self.

Pat hurt his thumb the last week of the regular season - it was wrapped from the UConn game all the way through the post-season. He was playing on guts for a long time with that injury, not just against OSU.
