Simply a prelude to a 2008 championship.

Also Jeff's Superman impression, which is still amazing. (just from a different angle)

After watching I was a little confused -- I thought we had beaten Vandy. That and the 3 by the alabama rainmaker seemed significant enough to make it.
Can't complain too much tho, the Ewing and Thompson shots were excellent (not to mention all the other game highlights).

Also PEJr at the beginning of the montage, that was pretty awesome, because you just had to smile when you saw him . . . .
Next year the HOYAS will be hoisting that trophy.

Definitely enjoyed the Hoya clips (aside from the one where Roy getting stuffed by Skuchas of Vandy), although I'm quite disappointed there was no shot of Pat Jr.'s reverse dunk off of the feed from Roy in the BC game.
EDITED: To correct the description of Pat's dunk as coming off of a pass (not a missed shot) as I initially had indicated.

Definitely enjoyed the Hoya clips (aside from the one where Roy getting stuffed by Skuchas of Vandy), although I'm quite disappointed there was no shot of Pat Jr.'s reverse dunk off of Roy's miss from the BC game. Hahha...Skuchas is terrible...I laughed when I saw that one. Also...that was a pass from Roy, not a miss.

This year's team just made for a great story, regardless of whether it won it all or not. There are the natural easy storylines -- father/son, Thompson-Thompson, Ewing-Ewing, Jeff Green's emergence.
Then there are the storylines the team created as it performed: the BC comeback, the Vandy comeback and the UNC comeback. This was a much more tv-friendly run than last year, so to speak.

I think I may have blended that play with Jeff's thunderous put-back dunk in the same game...

Another shining moment - the exact same score as our victory over Houston in 1984!

I wonder if they intentionally included that clip of the UNC mascot to honor the kid who was killed in NJ during the Regionals. If so, kudos to CBS.
LOVED the shot of the JT's hugging.

I feel like I got a slightly different version than the one posted to youtube. The shot of PEJr pulled away to focus on PE in the stands behind him. Did they have more than one one shining moment?

That shot was not in the One Shining Moment montage. Rather, it was in a halftime montage narrated by Dick "I'm not a good poet" Enberg. That said, there were some nice comments on family ties and fathers and sons. It started with that great shot of PE and PEJr.
