So granted, I'm somewhat (read: very) drunk right now. But here are some post-game thoughts:
- the refs are not to blame, nor are they ever to blame. The Bucks beat us fair and square. This, of course, does not take away from their suckitude in general.
- I was a freshman in 1998. JTII quit in the middle of my freshman year. This is, by far, the best season we've ever had since I've been a Hoya fan.
- there are a lot of people (not me) gettin' some tonight. That's awesome without basketball context.
- toolin' around DC in a limo is freaking awesome.
- we should have a Hoyatalk party this spring. I'd like to meet y'all, (especially my nemeses, Casual and YB). I'd also like to ask out Redheaded Hoya, based on posts alone.
I love all you guys. This has been the greatest basketball season since I started posting here. HOYA SAXA!!!

Great thoughts bando -- and very coherent at 3am after last night's festivities! You'll have to tell me about the limo ride when we inaugurate the 2007 Frisbee Golf season today. Great new avatar, BTW.
I'd especially like to reiterate point #2. I cannot remember a single season in ANY sport that I was happier about. The Angels winning it all in 2002 was sweet, the 9ers winning the SB in 1995 was great, and the run of Laker championships in the 80's and 00's were great.
But this team, this coach, this family, the atmosphere at the Booth, the reunions, the gamewatches, traveling to the Sweet 16 ... all of it has been so positive and so special. Seasons like this are yet another reason why pro sports can't touch the magic of the college game.
We may not have won the NCAA Championship, but we did everything else a team can do in a season. And I get the feeling that we've only seen the beginning ....
