True fans have to have suffered to appreciate the glory of success. All others are suspected pretenders and are on probation for now. Thus, all those post-Esherickians are hereby issued a warning, it's all fine and good to jump on the bandwagon now, we enjoy the company...but we better see you still holding on tight if that wagon veers off course, catches flame and tumbles off a ravine. It certainly is something to see these scores of unfamiliar screen names on the board all of a sudden, eh?

If a bandwagon includes a more enthusiastic, connected alumni and fan base, then I'll take it. Let them all on and try to keep them as long as possible.

Edited. Avoid personal insults.--Admin
For anyone who is unaware of Facebook and its prevalence: this is unheard of for anyone post '05.
I guarantee this girl is the sort of person who believes that Corp-run businesses are the be-all and end-all of shopping and services... and thinks that a walk to Booeymonger is an outrageous expedition.

Alternatively, the lack of profile could be taken to mean that Claire Cooper or Coopers does not exist and is merely an invention of the media...

She WAS there as of last night when the thread went up and has probably been getting so many messages that she deleted it... (I checked too).

I can confirm, the profile existed yesterday. Picture was too small to deem attractiveness.

Female or not, sports fan or not, that quote is an embarassment to anyone who's ever been a Hoya, myself included. I know hundreds of kids from my class (and not all die-hards, either) who would've given anything to get even a sniff of an NCAA game, much less the Final Four. Kind of reminds me of the transfer from a few years back when I was at school who wrote a column saying that the students/university had no right to consider firing Esherick. It's amazing how stupid some people can be. And then they go ahead and put their thoughts into print (or allow it to happen) so that other people can see how stupid they are too!
I just can't do anything but continue to shake my head at this.

Come on, lock this up.
"NO personal attacks on fellow posters, Georgetown players, coaches, recruited student-athletes, or athletics staff will be allowed. Any such posts can be pulled promptly and without warning. You may consider the following to be examples of personal attacks, though not limited to: --Comments which seek to denigrate, belittle, provoke, or harass"
When I was a freshman, I did a lot of dumb things. I still do. If some of them get caught and put on YouTube, I'm toast.
Commenting that a freshman is ugly and considering them a traitor because they didn't watch a game is beyond any reason. This is a real live PERSON who is getting castigated because she didn't watch a game and made an ill-considered quote to a reporter. It's bullying and it's not funny.
If you're going to mock someone, mock me or someone else who regularly posts here. Don't be cowardly enough to mock people who can't defend themselves.
