Nolan (Albany): Do you still think the Georgetown backcourt is not good enough to reach the Final Four?
SportsNation Doug Gottlieb: (4:26 PM ET ) Yes, and so I was wrong.
that was my question.

Wonder how many Gtown questions he will take before running and hiding in a corner. someone need to point out Bilas' insights about the NO CALL and put this issue to bed for good

I'm guessing he won't answer my question as to why he was tossed out of ND.

So apparently Jeff didn't travel just on the play. He traveled TWICE.
Gary (New York): You should read your colleague Jay Bilas's explanation of the alleged "no call" on Jeff Green. You may learn something about the basketball rule book. Speaking of men among boys, how hosed was Jeff Green getting only a third-team all-America slot? And for that matter, Aaron Gray over Roy Hibbert?
SportsNation Doug Gottlieb: (4:32 PM ET ) I disagree greatly with Jay's view of the play and the rule. He traveled twice....call one, ball game.
He doesn't agree with Bilas, and that's ok. If they're going to disagree, whose belief do you think is more credible?

Snippets from Gottlieb. What a turd-burglar.
Nolan (Albany): Do you still think the Georgetown backcourt is not good enough to reach the Final Four?
Doug Gottlieb: (4:26 PM ET ) Yes, and so I was wrong.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mike (Washington, DC): Why has the Hoyas' performance recently to caused you to suddenly start speaking so highly of them? They executed their (non-transition - *gasp*) offense for a few games without UNC-style lapses, and now they're not so surprising, even though they were supposed to lose every game since the BET quarters.
Doug Gottlieb: (4:28 PM ET ) they have hit a lot of shots, been incredibly fortunate, see the Vandy no call, and Green and Hibbert are MEN among boys.
Oh yeah, that Thompson guy, he may know a thing or two about coaching.
Gary (New York): You should read your colleague Jay Bilas's explanation of the alleged "no call" on Jeff Green. You may learn something about the basketball rule book. Doug Gottlieb: (4:32 PM ET ) I disagree greatly with Jay's view of the play and the rule. He traveled twice....call one, ball game.
Michelle(Washington D.C): Doug, You have made a lot of us Hoya fans angry by now showing support to G'Town. The opposite seems to happen in every Gtown game you predict, please pick against us, we love making you look bad. GO HOYAS!!!!!
Doug Gottlieb: (4:36 PM ET ) Sorry Michelle, I picked the Hoyas to beat OSU. If you believe in that sort of thing, it could be a bad omen.
Jon(KC): Doug, So u like Florida vs Georgetown in the final, who do u like to win the championship? If I remember right the Hoyas were beating Florida with 45 seconds left in last years tournament, so I guess they have a pretty good shot. Thoughts?
Doug Gottlieb: (4:46 PM ET ) Great match-up and yes, Corey Brewer made a huge three to seal it. I like UF, but an incredible game.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Larry (Omaha): Is that why Sadler issued a statement saying he was staying at Nebraska, because he's buds with Gillespie and already knows he got the job?
Doug Gottlieb: (4:47 PM ET ) No, because he i LOVED in arkansas.... great contacts and plays a watchable style, but he does not want speculation to hurt his late recruiting....he is staying.
Doug Gottlieb: (4:48 PM ET ) OK, last thing before I go. I like Florida and G-Town, but I would not be shocked if I have it totally backwards... This is a really solid final four and whereas the past two have been average at best, this should be great.
THE BANDWAGON IS FULL GOTTLIEB. WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR!!!! GO HOYAS!!!!

He just said on the AF-Clem halftime report that we win if we hit 10 or more 3s. Editeding duh! Way to go out on a limb, Dougie boy. The pace this game is going to be played at, we might not even take 10 3s.
