playing with his bro at ngcsu, averaging 20 pts and almost 7 assists per game. i know some people don't like all the attention given to former players, but matt was one of my favorites and i wish him the best in his basketball career. i wish he were still here, as i think he would thrive in jt III's system. well, here's the link for anyone wanting to see matts stats.. www.ngcsu.edu/athletics/mbb/mbb.shtml

I'll start this post by saying I'm glad to see that Matt is doing well. I would have liked to see if he had the ability to become a starter in the Big East.
I'll end it with saying can we refrain from talking about his numbers in a league that is so far removed from the level of talent in the Big East that it just doesn't matter.

Besides, I'll take Wallace over him anyday. GO HOYAS!!! Not to come down on you, Buffalo, because you may be right, but after Ashanti post-Tennessee and Causey post-whatever game that was, Owens post-Duke, haven't we learned anything about extrapolating one game?

You're absolutely right, SF... I'm just going by what I saw in the Kenner League more so that the season so far. To me, the kid looks like he's got the makings of a very good PURE college PG (and apparently he can shoot too!!!). But you're right... too soon to tell. Of course, people on the board who worship Causey base that on a very small sampling as well.
GO HOYAS!!!

I dont think anyone worships Causey, haha. Some think he had the potential to contribute and be a decent player but I dont think anyone expected him to really dominate.

i don't worship causey. i respected the fact that he played every minute like it was his last, no matter how few he played, unlike most of the other players on the team who were lazy on d and only looked for their own shot on offense. i never said i thought matt was better than wallace. i also refuse to label a kid the next sleepy or mj after one good game. the same people gushing over wallace now will be hammering him when he struggles.
