Agreed- DaJuan was great tonight and it was good to see him doing it all over the foor, not just staying outside (although his shot has really looked good lately). He's got a little more work to do on his handle, but I love watching him take it to the basket. A perfect guy for that Exclamation Point Dunk in the Overtime!!!

He was clutch. So much for the vaunted Tar Hole freshmen. I'll take DaJuan anytime!!!

He was the quiet assasin during the Regionals. He didn't look like a Freshman at all with his big time shooting. Now and going forward, we are in store for some great times.

We went years with no dunkers. We dunked a lot tonight. Great game by Summers.

I'm sure RDF is proud of you, son! As I'd hoped, Summers showed again how valuable a member of this team he is to our offense. It should be clear to everyone that we win as a team, i.e. the sum of the whole is greater than the parts. Maybe statistically some players haven't consistently delivered what we'd like, but we've continued to find a way to win. And that's the bottom line.

Vernon gave us some good minutes too. We needed him.

Won't be long before we're worrying about whether Summers will take his game to the next level early. The young man is gonna be a monster next year, no matter who else is here.

Great game from a freshman who has grown up a lot this season.

Vernon gave us some good minutes too. We needed him. Rivers and Macklin didn't do a whole lot in terms of filling the stat sheet, but the minutes they played were ESSENTIAL to the victory last night. As the regulation drew to a close, you could see the legs going out from under the UNC players. Shots were flat, no elevation on jumpers... for whatever reason, they looked gassed. I think this had as much to do with their disappearing act as the switch to the zone. On the other hand, G'Town looked winded, but with enough gas left in the tank to play a couple overtimes.

It was buried behind somebody I never heard of who was swimming this weekend at a big meet, but Dajuan's presser audio were featured and the local ties mentioned on WBAL radio this morning by Keith Mills. I guess with even the Lady Twerps out, they had to finally acknowledge us. Did mention the Dunbar ties at GU on the last final four team.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate all the fan support we've got all year.

Has anyone found a good picture of Dajuan's dunk with Tyler on the floor?

CHARM CITY NUTTAGE was mentioned above and is all that needs to be said--the attitude he and PE JR have brought to this team is infectious and really has contributed to taking this team to another level in my opinion.
I love this program/team because they are doing it the way it should be done--as STUDENT-athletes and not being a bunch of self promoting clowns--they are good kids and fine representatives of the University.

On College Gamenight last night, Majerus referred to Mr. Summers as "the best freshman in the Big East." DaJuan will be a team leader for the Hoyas long before his career at Georgetown is over.

You get your career high in the NCAA Eastern Regional against the #1 seed? I think this guy has passed his freshman requirements!

My man-crush on DaJuan has now reached epic proportions! He want Avon Barksdale on Carolina last night. I was so excited when went spread-eagle and dunked that I racked myself. I had to watch the end of the game paralyzed from the waist down. Watching him run down the court pounding himself in the chest fired me up!
