No coach or team is above being jinxed no matter how good or prepared they may be

I feel like I already told this story, but I think it deserves repeating anyway...
At the last game, we had a gamewatch in Seattle. Of the 200+ people in the bar, we 20 or so Hoya fans were the only non-Washington State fans there. The WSU fans were, in general, cordial folks.
One of the local radio stations was also there, and they kept getting on the PA to announce drink specials and pump up the WSU crowd. The radio guys even gave a shoutout to the Hoyas, which was kind of them.
Midway through our games came the following message (jinx) from the radio dudes, "We can't wait to face the Hoyas next week in NJ on our way to the Final Four!!!!"
Needless to say, this is when WSU started to come apart. Shots stopped falling, etc. I'm sure it is coincidence, but in case it isn't...

The only question that remains is, is it too late to reverse the jinx. The atl travel plans discussion could have been the icing on the cake. A sin that can not be taken back ala suicide

Ahh im sick of this poop, maybe if we sacrifice 100 virgins we will win the game and that will lift the curse from us.
Jinx, seriosuly guys? Our typing of posts in the "series of tubes" that is the internet has 0 effect on the outcome of the game tomorrow. But then again you might not make it if the boogeyman gets you tonight, then your only hope of being rescued in time to see the game is if the super tag team of Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy come to save you.

I don't think you can create a jinx with a thread about going to Atlanta unless you're the number one seed. Creation of a jinx requires some strong likelihood that something will happen, only to see it not happen. There's certainly a chance we could win two games in East Rutherford this weekend, but you'd be hard pressed to convince me that it is a very likely result, or even more likely than not.
I just want to survive the upset tomorrow and go from there. If we get to the Elite Eight, we've gone as far as our no. 2 seed says to take us. After that, we're going to have to play some great basketball against some great teams, and that still may not be enough.
In any event, if there's an anti-jinx, its JTIII. Not only is he superstitious, but he simply refuses to talk about more than one game at a time.

I'm with Bando (surprise, surprise), but a little more realistic. I can't prevent these conversations, but I dare not participate in them. What you all do is your own business. Just know that if anything bad happens, I am going to blame you. And then I am going to kill you. We're in the business of winning games, people. Who's gonna' do it? You? You, Lieutenant Weinberg? My personal mojo is standing up (I can't grow a very good beard). The last time I sat down during a Hoya game was, well you know when it was. Ever since then, I have been standing up for every game that I've watched on TV (and even at the BET, I didn't sit down, just leaned back against the seat). 6 in a row in that span. Also, I think it's important to note that the Hoyas have lost only one game since I have selected "Click to Ignore" for a certain Florida troll. Even if you can't stand up for the entire game, I recommend that action to all. I feel so honored. But if you remember, I have been telling you for months that I am your good luck charm. The Cuse game is the only game all season that I have watched that Hoyas didn't come out the victor. As for "ignore" brasky remains the only person ever warranting such from me on this or any other board. He too should feel likewise honored I guess.
