I'm going to be at Vanderbilt on Saturday, and I was wondering if there is a game watch in Nashville? Preferably around the Vandy Campus, since I won't have any transportation outside of a taxi. If not, can someone recommend a good place to go?
Thanks.

Don't know about a formal game watch, but I'm gonna be looking for a sports bar in Nashville to watch the game with a couple Hoya alums (and a Duke alum...this could be fun). I'm potentially thinking what used to be the Eddie George sports bar at the Hilton by 3rd & Broadway.

sports bars in the vandy area:
sam's (hillboro village - right off vu's campus)
sportsman's grill (right off vandy's campus on 21st - make sure you ask the hostess how to get upstairs)
longshots (music row - maybe 1.5 miles - $5 cab ride)
bailey's (broadway and 4th) downtown, easy cab ride
the sprort's grille (formarly eddie's) - in the hilton downton on broadway. easy cab ride, probably my favorite of the bunch. great tv's great service, great food.
commodore sports bar and grill (in the holiday inn vanderbilt) more of a "local" feel. not great tv's.
there are ton's more, but these would be the closest. out of those i would recomend eddie's or sam's. eddie's is a little nicer, but at sam's you'll get a more authentic local feel. both have plenty of tv's and frosty adult libations, although sam's has more beers on tap.
