I did not like the quote "Georgetown is a tight-knit program, and it doesn't let outsiders in", he said. "Tyler just doesn't say much about what goes on within the team".
I was in hopes some of this would disappear with III.

I was glad to read that quote. I'd like to see some more openness concerning scheduling, willingness to play other teams, information for fans about upcoming games, etc., but I've always liked the fact that the program treats the players like students, and not some roadshow.
I also wanted to say that the article linked reflects well not only on Tyler, but on the local newspaper as well -- what a nice piece on a local kid, complete with stats for a THREE MINUTE stint! Great work.

Great work. Can we get that guy to cover the Hoyas every game for his newspaper? He would bring more passion to it than the people at the Post.

Indeed.
Tyler is exactly the kind of player I'm happy to have on the Hoyas- tough, hard working, happy to be a Hoya. Easy guy to cheer for.
And I think Air Force One will eventually be a great asset for the program, on and off the court.
