Does anyone remember JT Jr. being so vocal (or doing anything but sitting with his arms crossed, looking like he's going to throw up)?

I wonder what it's like knowing that your performance is going to be critiqued(sp) by the assistant coaches, the head coach, and the head coach's father.
Did you see the exchange between Jeff and Big John after the game?

Did you see the exchange between Jeff and Big John after the game? That was incredible. I was laughing for probably 5 minutes. What do you think went between them?

I have to admit that I am getting tired of the Big John angle in the media. Let this be JT3's team and let the guy have his own identity. Of course Big John could help by getting himself out of the foreground so much. But then, that's what the first George Bush did, and that one didn't work out so well.

Reminds me of why we're awesome.

I think Big John stays out of the foreground as much as possible. He sits high and away from the crowd at the home games. First we know he's vocal Second, it's family and third, He's a Hoya!!! So he's just excited as you and I........Go Hoyas. It has been awhile since we've danced on a Saturday night in the NYC......

I am betting he said something to Jeff about enjoying the win and stop worrying about that last missed FT as he seemed to be doing. Hopefully Big John was able to loosen Jeff up so he can relax a little for tomorrow!!!

The Big John/Patrick Ewing angle is overplayed in the media, but they always pick one thing and beat it to death. He stays as far away as he can during the games. And he's family in more ways than one. I thought that last image tonight was priceless.

I think its great that Pops and Patrick Sr. are viewed as part of the program. To see them get fired up like all the other Hoyas is great. On top of that they are proud parents. How many times does TV focus on family members in the stands? On top of that it doesn't hurt recruiting.

That interview that Patrick gave saying the sky is the limit, he also said he took the year off to follow his sons team. Year off from what, I don't know, but I love the Tradition. Maybe we can make him Big Man Coach Emeritus and teach Big Ticket to carry his jock

You know what? These are Pops' kids too. I love the fact that he's involved with the program and is being supportive of these players.
I have no doubt in my mind that our guys get some of their strength from what Pops is telling them.

He talks to them most likely. However you can tell he supports but keeps his hands off (other than slappin' Green in the head tonight) (smile)....If he was around Hibbert would be much more imtimidating!= and we would press. We have a different Hoya lokk and I am loving it bout' now

I see your points, but I actually like JT3 better than I liked Pops. I want 3 to be the face of Hoya basketball. (Running and ducking from the flames now . . . )

I was too busy screaming, running around my home, yelling things like "Charm City Nuttage", "J-E-F-F, JEFF, JEFF, BLEEPIN' JEFF" so what did they show that happened between Pops/Jeff?

I hope Jeff enjoys playing as much I as I do watching him. Needs to get back to Mr. Laidback Cat and have fun.

Now, nicknames should evolve and not be assigned. But, guhoyasfan has something there. Jeff "Laidback Cat" Green, or "Cat" for short. He waits, he stalks, he pounces, he rips you apart.
