Word on the street is we are in his final 2, the other contender being Cincinnati (his hometown team). Anyone have any additional information on him? I didn't even know we were on his radar...

Would be a great get, but all sites indicate an Ohio Lean---Cincy, OSU, Xavier---and Big Ten teams in the mix (Indiana, UMich). If we're high on his list, it is a very late surge, even for a junior of his caliber.

What I am hearing is that he wanted to stay close to home and go to Ohio State. They just took a commitment from Luke Babbitt so now they are all out of spots. This is where we come in...but like you said, Cincinnati is definitely still in the picture.

OSU just accepted a verbal from a very similar player. I believe they are out.

Thanks scruggs. Man, we could use some size like that after next year. III and the staff would help his game reach another level as well. "Yancy" would just be added to all the other cool and interesting names in the HOYA tradition.

Can we please get Yancy Gates & Samardo Samuels? They'd both be on the All-Name team.

As long as JT3 can teach him how/when to pass, I think it could be a good it. Am I missing something?
