Great article. I think we'll get 8 teams depending on the BET. I don't see them leaving WV, esp. with their rankings this year and their recent past. And their overall record.

This also reflects the quality of coaching in the BE.
I wonder how the coaches of the BE stack up against the coaches of the other major conferences?
What do guys think??

Jerry The quality of BE coaches is by far, pound for pound, the best in the country. You have an amazing mix of young upcoming talent, in coaches like JT3, Jay Wright, Jamie Dixon, John Beilein (although I guess he's not young, but rather, new), and Bobby Gonzalez - I think you can also throw Mick Cronin from Cincy in there, as he has all the trappings of being a good head coach. Factor in Fred Hill at Rutgers, who was very highly recommended, as well as Tim Welsh at Providence, and that is a hell of a young stable of coaches. On top of that, you have the old guard of BE coaches in Boehim, Calhoun, and Pitino, who, regardless of your opinions of them, are some of the most respected coaches in the nation, with multiple national championships between them. That right there is the reason the Big East will never be far from the top of the conference rankings.
