Anyone else watching this fugly game? Oden and Taylor are talents, but we could easily handle either of these teams

As I recall our game yesterday wasn't all that pretty. Not saying we wouldn't just saying good teams can make each other look bad.

oden mails it in. I mean physically he is a beast, but you can tell he listens to the people whispering in his ear and definitely reads his press clippings...this osu team has no heart.
wisconsin has tons of heart, but i am just not that impressed with their talent...tucker hasnt really shown me that much, chris rock has a nice jumpshot, but with butch going down with what appears to be a serious injury, wisconsin is in trouble.

Wisconsin, although I love them, has been overacheiving this year. They really don't have the talent to dominate and they win based on Tucker's intensity alone. Hopefully this sucess can give Bo some good recruits in the comming years

Bo blew that game by calling timeout with 3.9 seconds left. I HATE when coaches call time to set up the final play. When you're pushing it up the floor without the timeout, its to the offenses' advantage.

Great call jacko. I loved that the students didnt rush the court yesterday! great move - I don't know whether they tried and were stopped or what - but it tells us that they know this team is going to be achieving bigger and better things. Save the court rush for then...

At least in the NBA you can inbound from half court, but why would you ever want to let the the defense set and have to bring the ball all the way up court for 4 seconds. Stupid time out. Bo Ryan will be thinking about that for a while.

Bad choice on that time out. Hope we get to play one of those teams in the tourney, that will be a fun game. I have no idea why OSU rushed the court, just shows how they don't think they are good. Yesterday we (Hoya Blue) told people not to rush the court, when asked why, the answer was simple, "why rush the court when you should beat the other team and you are better then the other team"

Save the court rush for then... There were some (drunk) people who wanted to, but the majority knew it wasn't right. The yellow coats and company deterred those who were thinking about it. All in all the students knew that this was big, but we want bigger.

I was impressed with Wisconsin today, not because of their talent or execution, but because they lost a key player to a grotesque injury, had Flowers go down with an ankle injury, and still battled OSU to the final possession on their home court. That team has some guts.

Unless we run into a team that's totally en fuego, I like our chances against anyone.

Bob Knight had the right idea earlier this year when he let his guys push it up the court with no TO in a similar situation and Jackson hit that shot at the buzzer to take out A&M... just makes the most sense

We wouldn't crush either team. They are both very good and play very hard defense.
I'm not scared of either of these teams, but they would be close and hard games.

As a fan who has questioned Wisconsin due to fact I think they are very beatable if Tucker has an "off" game, I actually think they might have gained something yesterday--Bohannon's performance was huge and if he can hit some shots--they'll be a tougher out. Losing Butch hurts--and I hope the kid is okay--he was in some serious pain and just was painful watching him in such misery. Also--Gottlieb was attacking Butch his entire RS Frosh season as a "Bust" and why he was so ornery over the kid I'll never know--but was happy to see him develop into a key cog in a fine team/program. I still wonder how far this team can go if Tucker is off and especially now that Butch is out--but they play with heart/guts and I respect it.
Ohio State is going to be a tough out--Conley is far superior to what I expected after seeing him in HS and love how he can finish with either hand on those floaters. Oden is a difference maker--he can make an impact without scoring and he's a tremendous player. The key to their team is how Harris, Hunter, and one of Butler/Lewis play. Conley, Oden, and Cook will bring solid play majority of nights, but the role players make them a very tough opponent if they are on--and Harris has been solid all year for Bucks. I like their team and yesterday's game was fun to watch despite low score for same reasons I love Big East ball and Hoyas-Pitt game--teams were getting after it and playing tough defense. They know each other well and were really forcing each other to do things they'd rather not do on offense.
I'd much rather see Wisconsin down road for Hoyas--I think the matchups are very favorable in Hoyas favor--but Ryan is a fine coach and his team will get after you. Ohio State--that would be a great game and how about seeing them on a Monday Night in APRIL? ;D
