I'll take it...
Glad to know that our team can play several styles of basketball and still win.
Free Throws, Free Throws, Free Throws...
Rebounds, Rebounds, Rebounds...

Winning isn't always going to be pretty--and what you saw today was more growth from the team/program. When Pitt knocked the guys on their butts with a big run to start 2nd Half, instead of panic, the team kept their poise and took their time--game came back to them. Then the best player on the court took over the game and led the Hoyas to the win.
These are what Championship Contenders/Teams do--they FIND WAYS TO WIN when not having their best game. We've seen a tightly called game at Cincy, a rough/uneven officiated game today--some bruising, then some ticky tack stuff, and being down as much as 10 at Cincy on road, and 8/9 today--and more impressive today was there were 11 minutes left in game. You find a way to win game and battle--that is HOYA BASKETBALL and BEAUTIFUL TO WATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Championship caliber teams also finish games. They do not have wild on-court chest bump athons with eight minutes left.
Rod Brookin where are you, you fat slob? Oh, there you are disguised as Levance "too many Mrs." Fields.

Honestly I thought it was going to be the 4 free throws we missed when we were up about 6 that was going to be the key of the game. Pitt went on their big run after that . Fortunately, we forgot about those misses and stepped up.

It was extremely ugly on our part giving up all those offensive rebounds and some players (PEJr especially) getting overexcited and commiting hiddeious TO's. Not to mention that the officiating was inconsistant to put it midly. But guess what, WE STILL WON
Go Hoyas
